Mii QR Codes
Share a console Mii, scan a character someone sent you, or find the right way to share a browser design.
Switch 2 now has Mii QR sharing
Nintendo added Mii QR sharing in the September 2026 system update, version 23.0.0. See Nintendo’s update notes. Official instructions checked 2026-09-18.
Choose the right kind of code
| What you have | What it does | Where to go |
|---|---|---|
| A console Mii QR | Carries a Mii record for a compatible reader. | Scanning guide |
| A Mii Creator link or code | Reopens this site's editable character in a browser. | Open or convert site code |
| An image or recipe | Helps you recreate a look by choosing similar parts. | Find Mii ideas with settings |
Can this website generate a Switch 2 Mii QR code?
No. We currently export original artwork, browser share links and recreation settings. We have not implemented and tested a console-compatible QR encoder. Encoding a site URL into a QR image would not turn it into a console Mii.
What about older QR codes?
A QR image alone does not tell you its data format or compatibility. Keep its source platform and any test results with it. We have not tested 3DS or Wii U codes on physical Switch 2 hardware, so we do not label third-party codes as verified downloads.
Can I use these designs in Tomodachi Life?
Our random resident ideas and gallery are visual starting points for manual recreation. Our settings describe our own parts, not Nintendo part IDs. Nintendo describes local wireless sharing in Living the Dream; that is a separate workflow from a website share code.
