Terms of use

Plain terms for a free tool: use it, keep what you make, do not resell the parts.

Using the site

Mii Creator is provided free of charge, as-is, with no warranty of any kind. It runs in your browser, and we cannot guarantee it will be available, error-free, or that it will keep working the same way in future.

Characters you create

Characters you design are yours to use for personal purposes: profile pictures, avatars, posts, videos, printing, school and hobby projects. You do not need to credit this site, and you do not need permission.

Commercial use of an exported character image — a logo, merchandise, a paid product — is permitted provided the image is of a character you designed and you are not redistributing the underlying parts as artwork. If in doubt about a specific commercial use, ask first.

The artwork itself

The character parts, the renderer and the site design are original work and remain ours. What you may not do:

  • Extract the part artwork and redistribute or sell it as an asset pack, clip art or a template set.
  • Reproduce the editor as your own product, whether by copying the code or by embedding this site in a frame.
  • Present the site, or characters made with it, as official or endorsed by anyone.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to create or distribute material that harasses, defames or sexualises a real person, that depicts minors inappropriately, or that promotes hatred against a group. Do not build likenesses of private individuals for the purpose of mocking or impersonating them.

No affiliation

Mii Creator is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo. “Mii” is a trademark of Nintendo and is used here only descriptively, to indicate the style of avatar this tool produces. All character parts on this site are original artwork drawn for this project.

Your data

Your characters are stored in your own browser, not by us. We cannot recover them if you clear your browser data. See the privacy policy for the details.

If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, the takedown page explains how to tell us and what happens next.

Changes

These terms may change as the site grows. Continued use after a change means accepting the updated terms.
